2020-08-02We left Gijon on Saturday morning after 4 days enjoying with our friends, who made us discover a little of their region and with whom we once again had a great time.

Saturday August 01, direction Ria de Viveiro in Galicia. Still little wind and a drizzle that forced us to cover the cockpit to navigate under cover.

We did 91NM in 12 hours with only 1 hour of sailing … quite frustrating.
On arrival we anchored in front of Playa Aleguin, anchorage well sheltered from the NW wind but a little rolling with a small swell from N.
Enter Ria de Viveiro Old city MR at the Marina Ria Viveiro
After a good night’s sleep, we reached the Viveiro Marina to spend the afternoon and visit the city (Please note, here to spend a few hours during the day: it’s not free … 50%) A small stop at the Restaurant Paseo Maritimo , where we tasted a magnificent Pulpo a la Feira and Zamburiñas made us forget the mooring costs.
